Philip Williams is a Houston-based vocalist whose musical foundation was shaped in the church. Philip served at the church his grandfather pastored in Austin, Texas for many years. Raised on gospel music, Philip honed his skills through talent shows, UIL competitions, and years of dedicated vocal development. As his career evolved, he became a sought-after background vocalist, performing with renowned artists such as Kim Burrell, Dorinda Clark, Chrystal Rucker, Zacardi Cortez, and Tweet, and appearing on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel.

Philip currently performs as a background vocalist with The Session alongside Spud Howard, Patrice Dominique, Kirk Richmond, and others, while also lending his voice to Benji Muziq and various artists. In addition to performing, he is an active vocal coach, working with S Dott (Mr. Slow Wind), Myke the Label, and emerging local talent. Known for his precision, professionalism, and vocal versatility, Philip continues to make a strong impact in gospel and contemporary music
